The Festival Trend

As we all know festival time is approaching and I decided to create a contrasting colourful style make up look. This look concentrates on keeping the attention on the eyes which is the main feature of this look, the base is simple and quick highlighting the attention to the eyes. Many Youtuber's and celebs have been featured recently creating this trend when attending Coachella as well as illustrating there unique make up looks through social media. Some of my favourite looks have been by @pippathundow & @jamescharles

-MAC Pro Longwear Foundation NC15/ Rimmel London Foundation- Ivory
-Rimmel Wake me up Concealer- Ivory
-Rimmel London Pressed Powder- Silky Beige 005
-Revolution Iconic Lights & Contour Pro
-Rimmel London Shimmer Bronzer- 001 Light
-Maybeline Setting Loose Powder
-L'Oreal Paris Blush Sculpt
-Sleek Highlight Palette & Benefit High Beam Highlight

I used the blue shade from my Revolution Palette on the outer corner first and blended well until I got the right amount of density for the colour I wanted, then used concealer to sharpen the purple colour (Amethyst) which I used from my HUDA BEAUTY Desert Dusk Palette. Once I was satisfied with how it looked I blended the colours together to make sure there were no sharp lines, then used my trusty Rimmel wake my up concealer to create a cut crease at the inner corner of my eye and used the colour Angleic from the Huda Beauty Palette. After I was happy with the way it looked I blended the shades neatly together and used a baby wipe to clean away any excess and sharpen the lines.
Once I did my base I used a flat edge brush for the bottom lid of my eye to make the colours more voluminous. Firstly using the lighter colour Blazing and then blending out to the outer corner using the colour Saffron. These colours at the bottom are contrasting to the lighter shades used on the top lid making the look more diverse and striking.
To finish off the look I used my favourite Mascara from Maybeline (Lash Sensational) and then rounded off the look with the best eyelashes from Eylure using my all time fave N083.

-Rimmel Brow This Way Fibre Pencil
